What We Are
KL Training Solutions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping young people with the tools, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Through mentorship, academic enrichment, and community engagement, we help youth build confidence, develop leadership skills, and create pathways to success in school, in sports, and in life.
To inspire, educate, and equip young people so they can reach their full potential and contribute positively to their communities.
We dream of a world where every young person has access to strong role models, quality education, and the support they need to reach their full potential.
KL Training Solutions began in 2012, when Keynon Lake, a former law enforcement officer, SAW A GAP, too many young people were navigating life without the guidance they needed.
What started as a mentorship program for boys has grown into three signature initiatives: a boy’s program, a girl’s program, and a co-ed summer academy.
Over the years, we’ve worked with hundreds of young people. We’ve watched them discover their talents, overcome challenges, and give back to their communities. And each success fuels our belief that when youth are supported, entire communities grow stronger.
We treat every young person, family, and community partner with dignity, listening to their needs and honoring their voice.
We lead with honesty, accountability, and consistency in everything we do.
We equip young people to take ownership of their future and believe in their ability to succeed.
We create opportunities for all, removing barriers so every child can access the resources they need.
We work hand-in-hand with families, schools, and community partners to achieve lasting impact.
We give our best to the youth we serve because their growth is our mission.
